Cannon Recovery is managed by veterans and civilians who are in long term recovery themselves. The idea of Cannon was born from our own desire to pay it forward to the next man in line with an outstretched hand. Austin S. Adami, Founder & Executive Director, had a vision of creating something completely unique and support Veterans transitioning into life in Long-Term Recovery from PTSD & Substance Abuse: A peaceful and serene country living environment.
Our mission is to provide a safe, secure and structured living environment for veterans who are overcoming their battle with PTSD & Substance Abuse. By engaging our clients in an individualized and strength-based recovery program embedded in Psychotherapy & Case Management, 12-step and other Peer-Led programs, they will learn to build new foundations for living grounded in Faith and Recovery. It is our primary purpose to equip our veterans with the tools necessary to re-write their narrative. Our structured living environment provides a therapeutic balance so that long-term recovery is possible.
To create a national network of transitional living communities across the country to ensure that our Veterans battling PTSD and Substance Abuse, have a safe and therapeutic home to begin their journey of recovery.

COME AND TAKE IT
Our staff is dedicated to making a difference during this transitional time for each Veteran who stays with us. With a balanced ratio of client to staff, we are able provide individualized support as clients integrate back into their lives and the lives of their loved ones.
Nestled in between tall pines, Cannon Recovery sits on four quiet and secluded acres in Montgomery County. The rustic log cabin home is perfect for creating a space of serenity and privacy. Veterans also enjoy the amenities of the pool & hot tub, as well as a workshop area for projects. The nighttime atmosphere is centered around a fire pit and large adirondack chairs. Our mission is best served in an environment that promotes a place of healing. A home away from home is what we believe we have created.
